New hire is testament to swissglobal’s ethos of hiring and training global talent and prioritising transferrable skills

Global wealth management and financial advisory firm swissglobal has welcomed advanced PGA golf professional Bryan Smyth to its global team of advisers.

Smyth joins the firm as a Private Wealth Adviser based out of the global firm’s Dubai offices. The recruitment is testament to swissglobal’s ethos of nurturing exceptional talent from a wide range of disciplines, and giving high-potential individuals the training and development they need to succeed on the job.

“At swissglobal, we don’t compromise on talent. Our aim is to have our clients served by the very best teams carefully handpicked after a meticulous selection process. Importantly, we appreciate the flexibility, experience and skills that different career paths give our potential recruits. We pride ourselves on finding special individuals with transferrable skills that we can then help grow in a new financial services career. I am delighted that Bryan Smythhas joined the swissglobal team, where his advanced PGA professional work ethic, customer service capabilities and commitment to learning will hold him in excellent stead.” said CEO Mike Coady.

Prior to joining swissglobal, Smyth has for six years served as Advanced PGA Golf Professional at Emirates Golf Club, where he was a certified Peter Cowen Academy instructor. He was also a performance coach specialising in integrating the game’s technical, physical, human and equipment-related elements into a cohesive training programme for clients. Before his time at Emirates Golf Club, he spent five years coaching clients and delivering a 7-star golfing experience at the Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle, Northern Island.

“I am delighted to be joining swissglobal in a role where I can make a positive difference to clients’ financial security. My career as an advanced PGA professional has given me some valuable insights into client servicing — for example, that every individual is different and must be served and assisted accordingly. This is very much swissglobal’s way of working as well, and I am very pleased to become part of the swissglobal brand.” said Smyth.

Smyth is undergoing a full induction at swissglobal, while spending direct learning and development time with senior leaders including CEO Mike Coady. He is using swissglobal’s online education and training platform — having just completed his level 3 CISI to further complete the advanced CISI exams in record time.

“We’re growing rapidly at swissglobal and constantly looking for new talent to join our ranks. There is always room for talented individuals with crucial skills in client servicing, networking and goal-oriented performance. We have a robust training, learning and development programme to help our advisers maximise their capabilities and create rewarding careers.” concluded Coady.
